My team and I have been with Tribe for quite a while, putting a lot of effort into creating a community where folks can share info and connect without any charges.

Not long ago, Tribe decided to make a terrible move by scrapping all free plans and bumping the starting price to $599. I see this as a clear rip-off for the loyal customers who have supported Tribe all this time.

The assistance they provide feels 'human'—instead of sticking to a rigid protocol that comes off as robotic 'help,' they actually pay attention to what you’re saying and reply in a direct and considerate manner to your inquiries, issues, feature suggestions, and beyond.

Tribe's asking for 599.99 each month as we kick off the new year. It's a real downer. We signed up to escape Twitter, and now it feels like we’re back to square one.

I had a problem with the platform yesterday, so I shot them an email and sent a DM on Twitter. They got back to me on both fronts, and my issue was sorted out. The team is super friendly, really listens to you, and does a great job analyzing the problem.

I gotta say, this is hands down the top-notch and simplest community management app out there. I've been using Discourse for a bit, and even though it's super customizable, getting it set up took ages. With Tribe, you can get started way quicker—like 100 times faster—and you hardly need any custom development at all.

This product is a total flop and can lead to a heap of trouble for your business. Getting folks into the community through email is nearly impossible since it always lands in spam or junk folders, which is super embarrassing and creates a ton of hassle with customers right when they should be enjoying their purchase. After you manage to explain how to locate it, it still doesn’t function, and you can’t set up an account for them! Trust me, this will be one of the worst choices you make for your business. The team is friendly, but they just don’t get the job done. They’re aware of the glitch, yet despite my constant nudging over the past two months, they haven’t managed to sort it out. Do yourself a favor and steer clear!

Tribe is fantastic! I wouldn't have managed to set up a social network at no cost if it weren't for Tribe. They keep ads off your site, which is great. Plus, they don’t sell your information, which is a big win! I've been using Tribe for roughly three months now, and I can confidently say it’s the ultimate spot to create your social network.

This app had the potential to be fantastic, not flawless but close enough. The issue is they don’t follow through on their commitments. I jumped on the AppSumo deal back in 2019 because they promised WordPress integration for 2020, which was a big reason I chose Tribe. Now it’s 2021, and we’re still without that integration, despite their constant assurances for future updates. I’ve sent numerous emails and had conversations with them; if they can’t roll out WordPress, at least honor the promise of SSO for AppSumo users. They keep denying the SSO feature and are always pushing us to upgrade to a $249/month plan, just to squeeze more cash out of us. It feels like their AppSumo offer was just a way to cash in, and here we are in 2021 still waiting. Just give me my money back.
